Lead and Expert Teachers Leadership Colloquium (NESLI)


The Lead and Expert Teachers Colloquium is an integrated seven-month leadership program designed by the National Excellence in Schools Leadership Institute (NESLI) to address the leadership and interpersonal challenges associated with a leading teacher position. It focuses on the practical aspects of people management and aims to equip participants with the insights, skills and confidence to accelerate their own development as they strengthen the performance of their teams.  




Learning Goals include:

  • Understand the purpose of Christ-centred leadership in Catholic Schools
  • Understand one’s own capabilities and practices as an influencer and leader
  • Lead inspiring environments which are diverse and inclusive
  • Drive positive change through collaborative frameworks and professional learning teams.


Target Audience: Lead teachers, cluster leaders and coordinators (Priority given to regional, rural and remote participants)

Prerequisites: Must work in Regional, Rural and or Remote locations and have Principal endorsement


Duration: Seven 2 hour webinars

Course dates: 11 Feb, 11 March, 7 May, 17 June, 23 July, 18 August, 17 September

Cost: $800
