Deputy and Assistant Principals Leadership Colloquium (NESLI)


The Australian Schools Deputy Principals Leadership Colloquium is an integrated nine-month leadership program designed by the National Excellence in School Leadership Institute (NESLI) that focuses on the critical dimensions of effective school leadership. The program equips Assistant and Deputy Principals with the insights, skills and confidence to accelerate their own development as they strengthen the performance of those around them




Learning Goals include:

  • Understand the purpose of Christ-Centred Leadership in Catholic Schools
  • Develop the capabilities to lead successfully in the contemporary school environment
  • Leverage existing leadership capabilities and extend and engage in a process of continuous self-development
  • Embrace a transformational ‘leader as learner’ mindset.


Target Audience: Deputy Principals, Assistant Principals and Middle Leaders (Priority given to regional, rural and remote participants)

Prerequisites: Must work in Regional, Rural and or Remote locations and have Principal endorsement


Duration: Nine 2 hour webinars

Course dates: 12 February, 12 March, 1 April, 21 May, 16 June, 16 July, 17 August, 16 September and 20 October 2020

Cost: $1,200
